How's your UAV design coming along?

It's coming along. There are a lot of complications... mostly mathematical, though there are practical and theoretical concerns. Since starting the project in earnest, I've changed the proposed mission-type several times because of platform changes. The defense industry is dynamic and filled with high-tech wizards with deep-pockets backers. Thinking two-steps ahead just isn't good enough—to do so would put one seven-or-so steps behind the competition. If only I had several million government dollars to conduct some experiments and trials. Sigh.

Using iBlogger on iPhone 3GS at iBradtastic

Writing blog entries on my iPhone is nothing new for me — I've been composing entire posts on the handheld since the original 8GB iPhone. Back then, there wasn't a keyboard option for em-dash — it required HTML coding, just as all markup still does.

I've been writing bits and scraps on my iPad for several weeks now, and it reminds me of a TED video I saw several years ago. In a scene straight out of the world of "Minority Report," the speaker demo'd off software utilizing a touch interface. He deftly manipulated images, brought up a full-size keyboard and re-sized it, pinch-zoomed in on a map...

Fast-forward: today, I feel like I'm experiencing the desk technology from the Enderverse every-waking-moment of my day. It's a tech-dream come true.

So, aside from being a place to post answers to questions asked at my formspring.me page, I'll share some stuff about my iPhone, iPad and iPod experiences — and whatever comes to mind. This blog is truly superfluous. My real personal blog is at superfloo.us, a Squarespace-hosted site. I've deleted all of my exteaneous Blogger-blogs and I'm planning on continuing the organization process, eliminating unnecessary crap.

For now — since the iPad WiFi + 3G just came out — go pickup an Apple iTouch device and experience the awesomeness... or just follow my Bradtastic blogs and remain semi-envious. (You really shouldn't want to share my shoulder pain, unless you hate yourself. IF you think you can help me get rid of the shoulder pain, please let me know. I've had it for too long.
